Your mindset doesn’t mean 💩

Just a quick one for you today.

Looking on Instagram this morning and saw some ‘mindset guru’ waffling.

He was speaking about how you NEED to:

  • Get a cold shower at 5AM

  • Meditate 

  • Go in a sauna

…and a whole load of other BS.

Some 4 hour long morning routine lol.

So many people actually think you actually need to do this to succeed though.

DISCLAIMER: you don't.

Don't get me wrong, there’s benefits to it all, like cold showers grow you mentally etc.

But instead of doing some long routine, you could just get straight to work.

This will just make you 10x more productive.

You don’t need a 4 hour long morning routine.

In fact you're better to keep it short and simple.

For example, my routine is:

  • Wake up 8AM 

  • Shower

  • Grab some food and a coffee 

  • Get to work

Takes like 45 minutes max.

This way, you maximise your deep work.

Essentially, you want to get all the hard stuff done at the start of your day.

That’s when you have the most energy for deep work, and as the day goes on you do lower energy tasks.

If you do some 4 hour morning routine, all your deep work energy is gone before you even start.

This is the easiest way to complete nothing.

You must maximise your deep work state to full effect and get working ASAP.

Said I’d be quick today, as I’ve got to dash off to the gym.
